Raslouw is a beautiful and well-established suburb in Centurion West, which is characterised by a pleasant cosmopolitan atmosphere and a diverse range of properties. Bordering the rural outspread of the larger Centurion area in the west and adjoining suburban Centurion in the east, Raslouw boasts a picture-perfect countryside setting coupled with trouble-free access to the essentials and conveniences o¬ffered by the City of Tshwane.

Raslouw’s Centurion neighbours, such as Wierdapark, Eldoraigne and Rooihuiskraal, are self-sustained suburbs with well-developed infrastructure and amenities. There’s no need for residents to travel far to have their daily needs met. Raslouw has excellent pre-primary, primary and high schools; top medical facilities; many churches and places of worship; as well as comprehensive shopping and business facilities.

The Mall at Reds is 2km away from the suburb and the Raslouw Lifestyle Centre is opposite this mall. The well-known Centurion Mall and upmarket Forest Hill City are both 7km from Raslouw.

This suburb’s location, midway between the Pretoria CBD and Midrand, as well as its exceptional access to Gauteng’s national road network are some of the area’s most strategic advantages for people looking to put down roots in this neighbourhood.

Raslouw is well positioned along the R55 connecting Pretoria and Sandton and linking up with the N4 Platinum Highway in the north. Its proximity to the N1/N14 interchange which takes motorists from Centurion/ Pretoria to either Johannesburg (N1 south) or Krugersdorp (N14) is popular among those who commute between their homes in Raslouw and workplaces in the city.

This middle-to-higher-income area comprises a diverse range of properties suited to di¬fferent lifestyles, needs and purposes. Residential homes range from compact yet comfortable-sized modern starter apartments and two- or three-bedroom townhouses in freestanding complexes, to generous-sized contemporary family homes and sophisticated mansions in sought-after security estates.

Space in Raslouw is not a luxury but a given. Large leafy stands, smallholdings and agricultural farms enhance the countryside look and feel of the neighbourhood. These can be bought as vacant or developed properties. Homes built on smallholdings and farms are usually sizeable with multiple bedrooms. Investors and developers can opt for many hectares of vacant land earmarked for commercial or private development in this budding part of Centurion.

Gated village/estate living is the preferred choice in Raslouw. State-of-the-art security systems and access-monitored entrances ensure peace of mind. Some developers/owners o¬ffer added bonuses such as building packages and/or architectural plans, while strict adherence to building guidelines ensures the aesthetic appeal of the area is maintained. Estates dotted around the area include, among others, Raslouw Gardens, Raslouw Glen, Raslouw Manor and Raslouw Ridge.

In addition to attractions at shopping centres including shops, restaurants, movie theatres, an ice rink and outside wave pool, this part of Centurion o¬ffers superb outdoor leisure options and sporting activities. Residents have access to four popular golf clubs and courses: Zwartkop Country Club, Centurion Country Club, Irene Country Club and The Els Club at Copperleaf Country Estate. The surrounding areas of Hartbeespoort, Magaliesburg and Muldersdrift o¬ffer great countryside weekend getaways within comfortable travelling distance for the whole family.

In short, Raslouw has it all.

We live in an estate with friendly, supportive residents where we feel part of our community. Raslouw is a wonderful neighbourhood to live in.
