North Riding is one of the few centrally located suburbs that still offer value for money.
The suburb is also home to people from all walks of life including some of the country’s media personalities and entrepreneurs.
Media entrepreneur Thabang Mokopanele has lived in North Riding for eight years with his wife and four children. “Its central location ensures everything is within reach and it makes it easy to get in and out of the suburb to Fourways, the West Rand and Sandton.”
He says North Riding is close to good schools, shopping centres, hospitals and areas of entertainment. The Ticketpro Dome, which often hosts a number of events, including international live music performances, is a short drive from their house.
North Riding central to most suburbs such as Cresta, Fourways, Sandton and the West Rand, and is close major roads such Beyers Naude Drive, Northumberland, Malibongwe Drive and the highway.
Now an established suburb, the area have seen new developments coming onto the market including Isabel Estate, a secure development which ticks all the boxes for community living.
“North Riding offers value for money, it is an ideal suburb for upcoming professionals and families, providing access to many amenities,” says Thabang.
He particularly loves taking the children and the family dog, a Siberian husky, for a walk to the Golden Harvest Park on weekends. The Lifestyle Garden Centre is also a popular hangout and family dining spot. As a young cosmopolitan entrepreneur, Thabang says the many shopping centres around are convenient for his meetings, breakfasts and lunches with business partners without travelling far from his house. North Riding also is close to the Lanseria International Airport.
