Each estate has its own entrance gate where access is monitored and controlled, and residents can rest assured that their safety is a top priority.

A further drawcard is Amberfield’s location; it’s close to the N14 (Krugersdorp) and N1 highways, as well as main roads, like Rooihuiskraal Road (M37), Ruimte Road (R114) and the R55, ensuring comfortable commuting to either Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Krugersdorp or Sandton. The suburb is also on the route of the Gautrain bus service to the Centurion station. Both OR Tambo and Lanseria international airports are under an hour’s drive away from Amberfield.

Amberfield and its neighbouring suburbs boast a vast array of top educational and daycare facilities for babies and toddlers as well as primary and high school pupils.

Churches from just about every denomination are represented in the area. The Rooihuiskraal Library, offering some food for the mind, is a stone’s throw away.

Cricket lovers can support their favourite team at SuperSport Park located in Centurion approximately 9km from Amberfield. Centurion Action Sports arena is also around the corner and several outstanding golf courses are within short distance from the suburb.

Each estate offers plenty of open space in a secure environment and families taking a stroll, relaxing at a communal area, kids riding their bikes and residents walking their dogs are familiar sites in this neighbourhood, and a valuable advantage of living in an estate.

Amberfield is a fairly new suburb developed in Rooihuiskraal North. With almost half the population being middle-aged, followed by young adults between the ages of 18 and 35, it’s a vibrant and upcoming neighbourhood with income averages of between R25,000 and R35,000 per month. The area consists mostly of “lock up and go” security townhouse complexes and townhouses within security estates. With all the upmarket shopping centres including the famous Mall at Reds and the Raslouw Lifestyle Centre, health and fitness outlets as well as the numerous family-orientated restaurants, this suburb is perfect for the young and the young at heart.

Families considering buying property in Amberfield will find that the area has a lot to offer. Amberfield has six individual estates with separate entrances and 24-hour controlled security access. One can choose a house in Amberfield Crest, Amberfield Glen, Amberfield Heights, Amberfield Manor, Amberfield Ridge and Amberfield Valley. All of these estates are well managed and offer parks and communal areas where families can safely spend time together.
