Antonnio’s offers simple Italian fare in a family setting
Antonnio's Italian Kitchen in Parkview Shopping Centre is a spacious restaurant where the family can enjoy simple Italian dishes.
The restaurant has two undercover children’s playsets and one outdoor children’s play area in front of the restaurant complete with a bicycle track and jungle gym to ensure children are entertained while the rest of the family enjoy their meals. The loft section of the restaurant has some interesting decor including large chandeliers made from cooking utensils such as sieves and wooden spoons, as well as photos of Italy across the walls of the restaurant.
What's on the menu?
The menu offers a variety of dishes from pizza to pasta, salads and burgers. Start off your meal by enjoying the sausage snacker – a medley of home-made sausages with sweet chilli, honey mustard, barbeque and peri-peri dip made by the restaurant’s deli in Lonehill.
A customer favourite main meal is the Mediterranean lamb pasta with pan-fried roast lamb, caramelised onions and Italian plum tomatoes. This dish has kalamata olives, feta cheese, fresh coriander and a hint of chilli and lemon zest giving it a bit of a bite, and is served on a choice of spaghetti, fettucine, fussili or gnocchi.
Antonnio's Italian Kitchen specialises in thin crust pizzas with a variety of fresh toppings. If you’re a pizza lover, the carne pizza with salami, prosciutto, chourico, ham, chilli and kalamata olives is a winner. When it comes to desserts, however, be sure to indulge in the chocolate volcano – a decadent chocolate soufflé with a double-chocolate filling served with a large scoop of ice cream.
This no-frills, no-fuss casual Italian restaurant is perfect for families who want to enjoy an affordable meal out while the children are entertained. The friendly and efficient team at this restaurant have a passion for people and aim to deliver authentic and hearty Italian food made by hand.
