Learn more about Blaauwberg from local property experts.
What attracts buyers to the area?
Buyers are attracted to Blaauwberg as it offers the perfect family beach, with long sandy stretches and uninterrupted views of spectacular sunsets, whales in the bay and Table Mountain in the distance. Sports enthusiasts love the wave-surfing, kite-surfing and wind-surfing. While you have easy access to the great outdoors and wonderful West Coast resorts further north, the Western Seaboard was the first area to be linked to the central city via MyCiTi in 2011 (the airport route was already operating). This has made people look at the neighbourhood as a place where you can fight the traffic.

It boasts world-renowned views of Table Mountain and Robben Island and attracts a more discerning buyer. Residents tend to renovate older homes and stay forever.
