Besides being the number one agency on the Atlantic Seaboard, the Seeff Property Group also ranks 3rd nationally and sells the most R20M+ properties.
The Seeff Property Group currently ranks as the number one agency on the Atlantic Seaboard, selling the highest overall value of property and also ranks just behind Remax and Kaapstadt on the City Bowl’s top three list.
For the Atlantic Seaboard and City Bowl luxury areas alone, Seeff has achieved total sales since the start of 2016 of almost R2.7bn. Additionally, the brand enjoys a high profile in the luxury sector nationally including Sandton/Johannesburg, Pretoria East, Plettenberg Bay and Ballito/Zimbali.
On a national basis, based on the number of listings which is usually a good indication of the rankings of the agency, Seeff currently ranks in third spot, behind Remax and PGP (Pam Golding Properties).
Samuel Seeff, chairman of the Seeff Property Group says that the agency also consistently sells some of the most expensive property in the country and holds several R20 million-plus price records. This year, the agency set a new R32m record in Hout Bay and R34m in Higgovale in the City Bowl, lifting the price ceiling for both areas considerably.
Seeff is also responsible for almost 40% of all R20 million-plus sales made in Cape Town since the start of 2016. Of the around 19 properties sold worth just over R1.142bn, Seeff sold seven, the most recent being for R72m and R75m respectively in Fresnaye in addition to the price records listed above.
Seeff is one of the oldest real estate brands in the country, celebrating 53 years and now boasts over 1200 agents and 200-plus offices across South Africa and Southern African countries such as Mauritius, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland and Zambia.
