Little Stars Nursery School is located in the middle of the safe and quite Ruimsig community. We are located in a security accessible location and still close to most amenities such as The Walter Sizulu Botanical Gardens, Ruimsig Stadium, Clearwater mall and even located near excellent medical services, if needed, such as Intercare or Wilgeheuwel hospital. All just a throw of a stone away!
Little Stars Nursery School’s main purpose is to care, develop, and educate multi-racial children from the age of 18 months up to five years old, in a safe environment. We offer exclusive individual attention to the point at which your child is ready to go to Grade 00. The emphasis is on individual care as well as shared attention per child, for each child need individual as well as shared attention to grow intellectually, spiritually and emotionally.
The school consists out of three spacious classrooms. Each classroom caters for no more than 15 children, and has a qualified teacher and assistant; this is to ensure individual attention as well as a safer environment where kids can be monitored thoroughly. Little Stars is currently building a new school on the same premises, to meet all the specific needs of the children as well as their parents.
The staff at Little Stars, Ruimsig, works with a curriculum that incorporates all of the following age appropriate activities such as; preparing them for the next year whether they are 18 months or five years old, stimulating hand-eye coordination on different levels, developing their fine and gross motor skills, and most importantly, we allow them to learn and grow in a fun and exciting way. Each class is also equipped with educational material from toys to musical activities, from puzzles to building blocks, from nursery rhymes up to shapes and colors, you name it, we offer it. All of these is to be facilitated in a safe, fun, learning environment. We also offer extra murals like, Monkeynastix, Kindermusik, Kitchen Kids and Creative Grow Mathematics, to stimulate, motivate and educate children in different ways.
