At Footprints Preparatory School, learners from ages six to 16 years of age are taught by a passionate staff who take the time to realise the value in every child. Learners are assessed in order for educators to determine who they are and the teaching methodologies that will give them a quality education.
Learning takes place in small classes, where individual attention is the key to progress. Teachers work towards the outcome of independent scholastic ability by guiding learners to become confident, able, well-rounded individuals. The result of this is that learners will be given an enthusiasm to learn, and the morale and determination to overcome any challenges.
These outcomes are achieved in a safe, friendly, child-centred environment, where firm foundations are laid for the future. Learners work at their own pace to achieve their goals and meet their potential. At Footprints Preparatory School, academic knowledge is a focus that is supported by lessons in social skills, life skills and a strong moral code.
The school’s programme is rich with activities that aid in development. These include visual, auditory and kinaesthetic teaching equipment; Audiblox Therapy; a Reading Laboratory; and Water Therapy during summer months. Senior learners are also given introductory lessons to vegetable gardening, sewing, cooking and knitting to name a few.
