At the heart of the ethos at Dino Park Pre-School is the care and development of children in the community. As such, the school is a hub of educational programmes and activities designed to ensure the development, education, care and welfare of young children. The curriculum has been devised with the interests of the children holding a position of paramount importance to all staff at the school. The services on offer at the school, as well as the progress made by little ones is evaluated and monitored to ensure that the highest standards are attained.
Dino Park Pre-School is an English-medium nursery school. However, it emphasises the multi-lingual and multi-cultural nature of the community it serves, teaching children the fundamental principles of the Christian religion.
The school caters for children between the ages of two and four years old, and the large campus means that there is ample space for children to play on the playground, jungle gyms and in the big sandpit in the shade. The school campus is a specific source of pride for Dino Park Pre-School – the playground grass is kept looking at its best with water harvested from their roofs, and shade is provided on hot, sunny days by indigenous trees planted on the grounds.
In addition to the in-house curriculum, Dino Park Pre-School has a number of carefully-selected extra-curricular activities on offer it believes will assist in its aims. These include Monkeynastix for fun and fitness; Jungle Bugs for developmental play; Dolfin Kids swim school; Stimu-zone computer educational programme; Stimulus Maksima – a beginners booster and Ready-To-Read programme; the Acrionball movement development programme; and SEMAS for abacus and mental arithmetic skills.
