We’ve had a great start to 2015 at Private Property, with our site stats increasing across the board and a huge volume of leads delivered to agents.
Visits to our site increased 25% year on year, a sign of a healthy property market and the popularity of our website.
We analysed our data to find out which areas were the most popular with our site’s users.
Our data shows that the areas below have had the most visits since the start of the year.
Gauteng dominates the list, with 9 of the 10 most popular areas in that province.
The only area on the list not in Gauteng was Jeffreys Bay to Tsitsikamma. This high level of interest in the area was possibly as a result of holidaymakers looking at property options after visiting the area during the December holidays.

_ Areas that present opportunities for agents_
There are some areas that have a high number of visits but do not have a correspondingly high number of listings. This would suggest that there is a shortage of housing stock in these areas, with demand outstripping supply. These areas could present an opportunity for agents who work in these areas to take advantage of this traffic and list their properties on Private Property.
