This is a lovely 2 bed cottage set in the large, secure garden of an old Victorian house with views of Table Mountain. It also includes on-site, secure parking behind electric gates for 2 cars.

The accommodation, which is modern throughout, comprises two ample double en-suite bedrooms, both with built-in wardrobes, the master bedroom boasting a walk-in dressing room.

Both bathrooms are full bathrooms having a bath and shower each.

The accommodation has an open plan lounge/kitchen area and under stairs storage, with space for a washing machine.

The kitchen/lounge area is tiled throughout and the kitchen has light maple units, granite worktops, a ceramic hob and an electric oven. No fridge is provided.

There is an outside patio area for the exclusive use of the dwelling, so bring your weber!

This property is very centrally located, within 1km of Claremont CBD with its ample shops, restaurants, gyms and excellent transport links. Cavendish Square, with its extensive and diverse shopping offerings, is less than 2 km away. Cape Town CBD, the Waterfront and the Airport are all within 15mins drive (outside of rush hour). It is also within walking distance to Newlands cricket stadium and a stone's throw from Kelvin Grove Club.

The accommodation would especially suit a professional or retired couple, but sharers could also make it work! It is offered unfurnished.

Water and FTTH is included in the rent and electricity will be charged extra, on a share of usage basis (meter in kitchen).

The cottage is alarmed and linked to ADT. Security is included in the rent.

The accommodation comes with a free monthly cleaner (once per month). Gladys is my trusted cleaner and has been working for me in excess of 10 years. Extra cleaning can be arranged with Gladys separately.

One month's deposit is required to secure the accommodation. References will be taken. 1st rent required prior to handing over of keys. Available 16 October 2024 for 6 months initially.
