There are neighbours on both sides of the cottage.

It should be noted that this property is best suited to a couple or a single person. The property is not suited for small children. This is due to the fenceless nature of the property where boundaries are by understanding, as well as due to the danger of open wildlife ponds and water attenuation ponds on the property. Secondly, no pets are allowed on the property due to the wildlife and the fenceless setting between cottages on the property.

The suburb of Kelvin is a boomed off community with a supermarket, hardware store, post office, car wash and a couple of restaurants. The extensive Woodmead Retail Park developments are on the opposite side of the M1 Highway from Kelvin.

Kelvin has good access to the M1, N1, N3 Highways as well as the Marlboro Gautrain Station, which is only two kilometres away, making the suburb ideally located.
