Even though J-Bay is a small town, everything that I need can be found here. I absolutely love the clean, safe beaches.

I like the tranquility and I always feel safe in my home town. The clean and open environment of Tsitsikamma is important for my health and I enjoy the fact that it's not overcrowded.

Spectacular abseiling and zipline adventures await at the Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure with eight slides, of which the longest is 211m, across the river gorge as high as 50m above the water. Hiking and mountain biking are also some of the main activities of this area.

The J-Bay Surf Village is a good place to browse for handcrafts – curios, gifts, leatherwork, shoes, décor and jewellery. You can also pop into the J-Bay surf museum which has a collection of memorabilia of interest to surfers and non-surfers alike, or visit The Shell Museum which showcases rare and exquisite shells collected over the past century.

Surfers from all over the world regard Jeffreys Bay as one of the top ten surfing destinations, with arguably the best right hand point break in the world. The ASP International Billabong Pro surf contest is held here every winter.
