Situated on the rise of a winding lane and located between two of Plett''s famous beaches, is a home with high white walls, fabulous views, balconies, aluminium window frames and plenty more to offer. Surrounded by indigenous milkwood trees, privacy and peace are assured.

We stroll across a beautifully tended formal garden, passing under a portico supported by classic pillars, through the double door into the top floor living area, where our attention is immediately drawn to the open glass sliders giving onto a shaded patio (with braai) and sunny wood deck, with retractable awning. Here we stand and take in the fabulous views: Central Beach, the Piesang River below as it glides lazily past, flowing down to meet the blue waves of the Indian Ocean, treed gardens nestling in the valley, the protected fynbos ridge across the river, and the misty Tsitsikamma mountains in the distance a peek through each window delights with a different vista.

The living area is warmed in winter by a large open fireplace, and lit by a lovely chandelier, while the molded cornices add a distinctive flair. There are generous built-in display units and bookshelves. The galley style kitchen is streamlined, with many white cupboards and granite top counters, and eye level double electric ovens. Venetian blinds dress the windows. One counter makes a neat breakfast nook.

The main bedroom is on this floor, spacious with its own lounge, also with a wood fireplace. There are generous cupboards and drawers, a dressing room and full bathroom with twin basins. There are air conditioners in the living area and bedroom. Noting the useful stairlift, we walk down to the middle floor where we find four bedrooms, sharing two bathrooms. Three of these bedrooms access the balcony via glass sliders. A sunny study / library fitted with purpose built shelves is a useful space for students or for a person working from home. There is also a smaller room and kitchenette. Floors throughout are warm russet tiles great for easy maintenance.

The four single garages are housed on the lower ground floor, as well as a laundry and toilet. Automatic irrigation and two rainwater tanks service the glorious, tiered garden. Security is optimal with burglar bars, electric gates and electric fencing protecting the perimeter.
