220 ha Farm in Knysna Central

Situated between Knysna and Sedgefield on the Garden Route with stunning backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountain range. This farm is well suited for equine, dairy, small livestock, vegetables and orchards (Macadamia and Avocado) with deep top soils and abundant water and temperate climate with 750mm plus annual rainfall. The farm has two title deeds which includes three houses and two labour cottages. The land is fairly flat with gentle rolling hills. Three phase electricity supplies the homesteads, each with their own transformers and the water points near the main earth dam. The main dam is being increased from 120 000 to 160 000m3 with water rights suppling the 22ha centre pivot irrigation which is currently under maize. Two valleys are catchment for two further dams. The 180 ha dryland area is under mixed pasture and have numerous drinking troughs in the different camps. A cattle crush and loading bay is close to a well maintained road for easy access to markets.
