This large 98.1530 ha wine farm on level land in the picturesque Breede River valley is, 32km from Worcester, 13km from Wolseley, and 32km from Wellington, off the R43, between the Elandsberg and Wittebrug mountain ranges with nature reserves as a majestic backdrop.

A large portion of the farm is under irrigation with arable land which was renowned for it''s red and white grapes with vines consisting of 6 different cultivars, on 29.55 ha of prime land which was producing an average of 16.21 ton/ha (2023) ranging in age from 1991 to 2014. Registered water rights include water off:- the Darlingbrug Irrigation Board scheme (133,900 m3), borehole ground water (50,000 m3) and surface water (190,000 m3) as well as an earth dam with a capacity of 20,422 m3 total 373,900m3. There are 4 cement reservoirs, 2 of which are used to gravity feed water when pumping from the Breede River. In all the recorded droughts, this farm has never been in short supply of water.

This area experiences moderate climatic conditions, without extremities like hail & frost. Receiving a median of 254mm of rain per year and because it receives most of its rainfall during winter it has a Mediterranean climate. It receives the lowest rainfall (3mm) in Jan, and the highest (53mm) in Jun. The average midday temperatures range from 13.8C in Jul to 26.7C in Feb. The region is coldest during Jul with a min of 2.6C.
