Beautiful Bushveld Stand. Moditlo Wildlife Estate is a 3,300ha Wildlife Estate within the boundary of the larger 12,000 ha (approx.) Blue Canyon Private Game Reserve. The reserve is located 14km south of Hoedspruit The Blue Canyon Private Game Reserve is home to most of South Africa''s most famous and rarest game, with more than 40 mammals and 400 bird species on the conservancy. As there are no fences between Moditlo Wildlife Estate and the Blue Canyon game is allowed to wander freely across the border allowing the privilege of resident seeing and experiencing the wild nature and behaviour of the big four. There are plans to release Buffalo which will result in residents living amongst The Big Five. Many other species roam across the whole of the Blue Canyon Conservancy and are frequently spotted.

Wild Dogs, Spotted Hyenas and Brown Hyena, Caracals, Civet, Cheetahs, Rhinos and Hippos and due to the excellent veld conditions, it also has a wide variety of plains game such as Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Duiker, Steenbok, Bushpig, and dozens of other species and many species of birds including breading Southern Ground Hornbill.
