Howick is a little village on the Johannesburg to Durban route (just off the N3 highway) and a mere 30 minutes to Pietermaritzburg. The start to the renowned Midlands Meander route.

Amber Valley prides itself on its substantial open areas, which allow for numerous game, zebra, buck and warthog who roam freely amongst the houses.
