Location: In the vicinity of Parys (10km Northeast of Parys) in the Free State which is 1H30min drive from Johannesburg in South Africa

Water: There is ample water even during the driest years. Water is supplied to the buildings through a solar powered borehole. There are 3 boreholes:

3.6km of the game farm has a 2.4-meter high game fence (electrified). The bottom 600mm is Jacal proof. 2.4km is also 2.4-meter high game fence (electrified) but that fenced area has a 1.2-meter high Bonnox fence.

Additional information:

This reserve is nestled in-between other farms and in the mountains which makes it very save. It does not border on any roads and the access road ends at the reserve which makes it very private and safe. No other farms have access through the reserve. Bushman paintings and other historic structures are also on this farm and there are NO land claims.

Typographic:

This game farm can be described as plains with open low hills or ridges and open high hills or ridges. The farm portions have areas having slopes of between 3 % to 12 % and some areas having slopes of between 12 % to 20 %. There is an approximate 80 m difference in elevation from the lowest to the highest point of the farm, with the highest point approximately 1,585 m above sea level.

Soil: The Soil class comprises a combination of a red, yellow and greyish soils with low to medium base status and the Rocky areas with limited soil between the rocky area.

Vegetation or Grazing: The veld types comprise of a combination of Savanna and Grassland Vegetation Biomes. The natural grazing has a carrying capacity of between 5 - 7 hectares per LSU. The grazing field is typical of a mixed veld, with grass covering.

Temperatures and rainfall: Summers are hot with temperatures between 16 Celsius and 32 Celsius. Winter temperatures vary between 3 Celsius to 16 Celsius. This is a summer rainfall district with rainfall between 650mm and 720mm per annum.

Selling Price: There are two partners who each owns 50% share in the property. The one partner wants to sell his share in the game farm as he has to enlarge his current business.
