More recently in November 2021 the South African PGA awarded their annual tournament to The Links, and the third event is scheduled for December 2024.

The DP World Tour in association with the Sunshine Tour awarded two further tournaments to be hosted by The Links. The attraction of these events is the overseas coverage which will enhance the overseas image of the Links
