Jeffreys Bay is world renowned for its safe beaches and surfing waves, with many different surf breaks, each possessing its own magic. Jeffreys Bay is one of the five most famous surfing destinations in the world and hosts the annual World Surf League (WSL) surfing event at Super Tubes during July. Spectators and professional surfers from all over the world flock to this event. A very long, fast, tubing right hand point break breaks along the west side of the bay. The break is regarded as one of the best right hand point breaks in the entire world, in both consistency and quality, in season. Surfing spots include Kitchen Window, Tubes, Super Tubes, Point and Albatross. These beaches have an abundance of shells and are known for good angling. Jeffreys Bay is the home of thriving handcraft industries. The surf culture clothing shops are synonymous with Jeffreys, and all their clothes depict a scene in Jeffreys Bay.
