Game Farm in Grahamstown Central

Elephant Park. A 5573Ha game farm situated near Grahamstown, +/- 35km from Port Alfred. It has a natural 4.5km boundary in the form of The Great Fish River. The property is game fenced with two portions, a 783 ha portion and 4789 ha, the latter having all the infrastructure in the form of a newly built house (500m) 4 bedroomed, 2 bathroom house (shower, bath, toilet and basin) with an entertainment area and garaging. The house has recently been renovated as well as a 3 bedroomed staff accommodation situated close to the main house.

The second house, also newly renovated (144m and veranda at 28m), 3 bedroomed, one bathroom, open plan with an entertainment area and a pool.

All the vehicles and equipment can be stored under a steel roof 900m shed, complete with two offices (19m), lock up workshop (30m) and a slaughter facility with a cold room (15m) and a meat processing room (28m). Staff is accommodated in a large house with Eskom, water and kitchen facility.

Game has been selectively purchased, all free-roaming (approximate numbers) Buffalo (120), Giraffe (40), Zebra (21), Mountain Zebra (16), Sable (8), Blesbuck (350), Saddle Blesbuck (8) split and Yellow Blesbuck (40), Impala (350), Black Impala (4), White Flant Impala (5), Ostrich (10 ), Eland (20), Nyala (60), Wildebeest Blue (110) & Golden (40), Red Hartebeest (5), Kudu (120), Springbuck (9), Waterbuck (80), Blue Duiker, Bushbuck, Warthog and Tsessebe (5).
