The vegetation is diverse with open grass veld, wooded kloofs and beautiful mountain areas. The present owners have devoted much energy into veld restoration, this being mainly achieved by the planting of spekboom (Portulacaria Afra).

The butchery itself provides locally harvested venison products and supplies to many Eastern Cape establishments. The outside areas are tranquil with established gardens, koi ponds, a swimming pool and a tennis court.

The property is game-fenced with a CAE in place and licensed for Buffalo, Black Wildebeest (Top Species) and AIS registered for lechwe.
