A cottage consisting of 3 internal rooms and two outside rooms with en-suite bathroom is located in close proximity to the main double story house. The kitchen is warm and comfortable with an Aga stove, whilst the lounge, which leads out onto a fantastic stoep on the banks of the trout laden Diepspruit river with its trout.

Water supply to the houses and properties on the farm are through a well-designed gravity fed system. Water is piped into a holding reservoir from one of the many streams on the farm and from there it is distributed to the homes, sheds, staff housing and drinking troughs in the lands along the river. The system is also backed up by a pumping mechanism for use during times of severe drought.
