The team heads to the South Coast where they meet property agent Estelle Symcox and are introduced to property owners, Pierre and Vanessa Marrais.
The Joburg couple and their 3 children own a holiday home located on a hill with breath-taking views of the area as well as the ocean. It is walking distance from the beach and the perfect holiday home. They feel that it is time to sell as they want to explore the rest of South Africa as well.
Estelle and Kevin walk through the house and make suggestions as to what renovations can be made. The living room looks dark due to a dark wooden ceiling. Kevin suggests installing a dropped ceiling with downlighters to brighten the area up.
Upstairs Estelle notice that the balcony does not have a railing making it very dangerous. Putting up a balustrade will be a necessity. The garden is non-existent and in a place as beautiful as this one wants a striking garden. Kyle from Plantinfo says that he has got a plan.
While the team jumps to work Estelle and ex-cricketer husband Pat Symcox, take Henck on a boat cruise of the area. Pat educates Henck on the history of the area as the 3 enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Back at the house Henck receives horrible news that the truck transporting the furniture is still broken down in PE. The truck is waiting for the delivery of a part that from JHB. Henck is faced with the reality that they might not have furniture for the big reveal.
The ever-optimistic Estelle suggests that they go local and look for a furniture store in the South Coast. She and Henck jump into the "Vat jou goed en trek!" bus and heads out on a mission to find new furniture.
They stop at Lucky's Furniture and are welcomed by the store manager who agrees to help out and provide furniture for the reveal.
After a stressful morning Henck tells Estelle that he is struggling to find someone to do the balustrade railing on the balcony. Kevin would do it but he does not have the right tools with him to complete the project and nobody in the South Coast seem to be available to help.
The time finally arrives for the big reveal. Vanessa, Pierre and the kids can’t wait to see the completed project.
The garden looks amazing and fits in perfectly with the scenery. Kyle planted lots of flowers for colour and moved some big trees around to get clearer views of the ocean.
Henck tells the family to look up at the balcony and they see that nothing has happened! After a dramatic pause, he tells them the balustrade will be fitted in a week’s time. The balustrade looks beautiful when it is fitted and complements the house perfectly.
Inside the house looks completely new. They have painted the walls white. The white ceiling with the down lights make the living room feel bigger, brighter and cleaner. The furniture adds the perfect touch of perfection and the family is blown away.
Estelle takes the family to the laptop and shows them reactions of potential viewers and it looks like the property has received an offer.
After a successful week, the team congratulates each other and says good-bye.
