Update: This competition is closed and the winner has been selected.
The Tour de France is the world’s oldest and most famous cycle race. First organised in 1903, the race is one of cycling’s prestigious, three-week long Grand Tours.
Usually held in July, the race follows a route that winds for around 3,500 kilometres through some of the most breath-taking scenery in Europe. The Tour de France has a different starting point every year and the 2018 race will start on Passage du Gois in the Vendee region of France. After riding through the Pyrenees and Alps the cyclists head towards the finish on the iconic Champs-Élysées in Paris.
The Tour de France is the largest annual sporting event in the world with around 3.5 billion people watching the race on television and 12 million spectators lining the streets to watch the race live. If you’re lucky, you could be one of those watching the race live next year.
