Private Property Voted Best Property Website

For the second year running, Private Property Listings was voted the best

property website in the South African E-Commerce Awards held by Jump Shopping,

South Africa's leading online shopping search engine.

The Awards were started in 2006 in an effort to uplift e-commerce in South

Africa and they aim to recognise companies and organisations that have

demonstrated excellence through the use of the Internet.

Entry was free and the Awards were open to all South African based e-commerce

businesses. The public and a panel of judges, who are experts in their field,

voted for their favourite online stores and the winners were announced on the

26th November 2007. Other winners included Kalahari.net for best e-commerce

website, Bid or Buy for best online auction website and Digital Planet for best

computer store.

Private Property has demonstrated phenomenal growth during the past year and is

currently the busiest property website in SA. As more and more people get

Internet access this trend is sure to continue, with the Internet being an ideal

marketing vehicle for property.

"Last year we won the best property website award and we are absolutely

delighted that we have done it again," says Private Property's National

Marketing Manager, Sue Clarke. "We'd like to say thank you to all our fans that

voted for us and let them know that we have big plans for an even better,

faster, more user-friendly and much more interactive website coming soon in

2008."
