The Estate is approximately 230 hectares in size with stunning natural landscape and indigenous fauna and flora with herds of game roaming the estate.

Fernwood has 24 separate chalets (with designs that sleep 6, 8 and 10 people) offering privacy and superb views, plus a club house with a swimming pool, tennis court, jungle gym and a games room, amongst other facilities. Horse riding is available and a locked pedestrian gate gives direct access to the Monks Cowl National Park, with hiking trails into the mountains. Fernwood also has two scenic dams for the casual catch and release fly fisherman.

Fernwood is not open to the general public, ensuring the tranquility and privacy of this unique Estate is maintained.

Fernwood operates as a share block scheme in terms of the Share Blocks Control Act. The annual levy includes servicing and utilities consumption.
