100.1 ha Farm in Redelinghuys

This 100.12 Ha citrus farm is situated 5km east of Redelinghuys.

The farm is developed with 11 Ha of Nadorcots Mandarin Citrus (5 855 trees) and offers 49 Ha of irrigable land which can be used for growing vegetables or rooibos tea. The farm also has one small dam from which the citrus orchards are irrigated.

Farm buildings consist of a 3-bedroom main house, a shed with a fertilizer room and workshop, 2 managers'' houses, and a hostel that can accommodate 32 laborers. All buildings are well maintained and in good repair.

Water for domestic use and irrigation of Citrus is obtained from boreholes.

The average rainfall is 250 mm per annum.
