343 ha Farm in Komatipoort

Sugarcane, macadamia & vegetable farm. There are two hundred and twenty hectares under cultivation on this highly productive irrigated farm on the Komati River. Sugarcane (currently one hundred and twenty-three hectares) and vegetables (currently sixty-seven hectares) are intercropped with thirty hectares planted to macadamia orchards.

The farm has a water allocation for one hundred and thirty-nine hectares as well as a dam covering twenty hectares, capacity six hundred and fifty thousand cubic metres. The farm is situated below the confluence of the Komati- and Lomati Rivers, the latter stabilised by Lake Matsamo, capacity two hundred and thirty-seven million cubic metres. The Komati River is stabilised by the Maguga dam in Eswatini.

The homestead and workshop area is fenced with an electrified barbed wire fence and the second dwelling and seedling nursery is fenced similarly.

The farm is on offer as a going concern, with a full range of farm- and pack house equipment included.
