At the Annual Seeff KZN Awards held recently in Umhlanga, where French Romance was the theme, Seeff Chairman Samuel Seeff gave the prestigious annual Chairman’s Award for KZN to Elaine Chetty, Licensee of Seeff Richards Bay.
Samuel Seeff describes the reasons for his choice: “Under her leadership – together with her husband Silven as co-Licensee – Seeff Richards Bay has shown a consistent growth pattern of over 20% per annum for the past 5 years. Seeff Richards Bay has also sustained its position as market leaders in the area with 24% market share and a high level of Seeff presence. Their consistent high level of rental income and expertise also resulted in Seeff Richards Bay recently receiving the National Award of Rental Office of the Year.
“Team spirit in this office is a priority, and consistent attention to recruitment sees energy being maintained in this team which has an average age of 32 years – the youngest team in Seeff KZN. Elaine is also a respected member of the community, leading numerous community initiatives through her position as Chairwoman of the Zululand Business Women's Association. She is indeed a property expert to be reckoned with.”
The Seeff Richards Bay team as a whole made an exceptional impact at the awards, being ranked number one overall in sales (units) for Seeff KZN. Four out of the top five winners in terms of units sold came from the Seeff Richards Bay branch: 5th for sales of units for KZN was Kreselan Chetty; 3rd was Reanne Govender; 2nd was Sebenzile Mthethwa, and 1st was Elijah Chetty. Zandria Massyn, who was Rental Newcomer of the Year, also took pole position coming in 2nd in KZN in terms of rental units and 3rd in terms of rand rental value. Another two winners from this remarkable team were Koketso Phaswane – Rookie Sales Agent of the Year, and Terrence Pillay – Newcomer of the Year for Sales.
